I love Nintendo, I love Gameboy.

One of my oldest memories is listening to Bon Jovi and playing Nintendo.

The Gameboy was my first love and long may Nintendo reign over the handheld gaming world.

Apparently the new Switch has the NES classic Golf game hidden in its storage as a tribute to Satoru Iwata.

I love owning different Gameboy shapes and accessories. The options were vast.

Classic is best. Future is bright.

SYRUP - South Place Hotel

SYRUP was my first solo exhibition in London. It was a lot of fun to execute, from idea to launch night.

South Place Hotel were opening a members club and I was asked to be an ambassador. This included holding an exhibition. At first I wanted to do a retrospective, but that would have just been boring. I decided to challenge myself and shoot a body of work from start to end in the one month I had to organise the launch party. Que SYRUP.

SYRUP was study into the beauty of all things sticky. Massive thanks to all involved, including Clare Nicolson (styling), Sadaf Ahmad (hair and make up), Big Apple Hotdogs (hot dog supplier), Mr Kipling (didn't give me free cakes, Annette Roberts (model) and the Amazing Topsy (Model)

David Shrigley - Brain Activity

A while ago the good people at the Hayward gallery asked me to follow around David Shrigley for the day. David had an upcoming exhibition called Brain Activity and the photos were for promotional material and to go into the related book.

I have shot David in his home a few times before for a couple of other magazines but this was the first time I got to see his metal and sculpture studios. Its always great to see how he does what he does.

I also convinced him to sit for a portrait collection I was working on called 'UNKNOWN'

I have always been a big fan so it was great to get to shoot him in his home so much.
